連用序數(shù)詞和最高級

序數(shù)詞和形容詞最高級前通常要用定冠詞，副詞最高級前可用定冠詞，也可不用。如：

It was the best result they’ve ever had. 這是他們歷來取得的最好成績。

He won the first game and I won the second, so we’re even. 他贏了第一局的比賽，我贏了第二局，因此我們打平了。

【說明】當序數(shù)詞表示名次時，其前的定冠詞通�？梢允÷浴Ｈ纾�

Who won (the) first prize? 誰獲得了一等獎?

另外，當序數(shù)詞不是表示順序，而是表示“另一個”時，則在其前用不定冠詞。如：

I want to read it a second time. 我想再看一次。
